Harmonica Workshops
Within the first few minutes workshop participants will be playing actual folk songs on their very own harmonicas.
A three to eight hour
"Folk Traditions Through Music" residency designed for schools,
that features a hands-on introduction to harmonica mixed with a history lesson,
is available through the Nebraska Humanities Council
Speakers Bureau. Decent harmonicas are available for $2.00 each.

Beginning Contra and Round Dance
If you can walk then you can learn these fun, easy old-time dances.
Debby and David teach the steps one at a time and then call the
dances while playing the fiddle and guitar.

Songwriting Workshops
In collaboration with David and/or
Debby, students create lyrics, develop a melody, enhance the
arrangement, rehearse, and record their own original compositions.
This unique experience can culminate with a performance for the
whole school with Greenblatt & Seay playing some of their
original songs, and the students debuting their new creations
for their school mates.

Individual students get the chance
to play a variety of string and percussion instruments.
