Easy Animal Fiddling Tunes for Two

33 kid-friendly tunes arranged for two instruments and voice, with chords for back-up musicians included. The melodies that you will be singing and playing are all in the top staff. The lower staff consists of very, very easy accompaniments, many using just the open strings, and easy repetitive rhythms.

Each Tunes for Two collection consists of individual spiral-bound duet books presented in score form with melody on the top line and harmony beneath so you can play each tune by yourself or with others. Duo arrangements of the tunes in this collection, in the same keys, are available for violins, violas, cellos, basses, and mandolins.

Reviews...

“This collection is ideal for primary school age pupils of grade one or two level. All tunes are in 1st position for both viola parts with the 1st viola always having the melody line. The 2nd viola part is easier (grade one level). Keys used are D, G, C, A, one in B flat and one in G Minor. Very little ‘C’ string playing is required, which makes for a better sound when the tunes are played on smaller size violas. All the tunes are ‘straight forward’ for Grade one & two level--no ‘tricky rhythms’ or excessive accidentals and all the tunes have nice melodies and harmonies. ‘Highly recommended’.”
